Area Mass and Meeting
Glenmore Area
St Mary’s Ardmore will be
celebrating a special Mass for people living in your
area on Thursday 19th November at 7.30pm The Mass
will provide an opportunity for families and friends
living in the same area to come together and get to
know each other a wee bit better! Light refreshments
will be served afterwards in the Pastoral Centre.
There will be a meeting in preparation
for the Mass on Thursday 5th November at 8pm in the
Pastoral Centre. This will enable us to organise readers,
Eucharistic Ministers and involve as many people as
possible both young and old in this special celebration.

Marian Movement Cenacle
A Regional Marian Movement day of prayer for Priests
and laity, led by Fr Michael Maher, will take place
on Sat 7th Nov 2009 in St Mary’s Chapel, Ardmore,
Derry City (12midday – 4.30pm). The day will
include Adoration, Confessions, Talks and Mass. All
welcome. Please bring a packed lunch.

City Centre Christmas Craft
Fair
Saturday 7th November 2009 in the newly refurbished
Playhouse, Artillery Street Derry. Opens 11-4.30 ,
Admission £1. Showcasing local craftworks.
Children in Crossfire are launching their 2009 Advent
campaign in Ardmore Parish, the proceeds from which
will help vulnerable children and young people in
Ethiopia and Tanzania. We are recruiting volunteers
to help us distribute boxes at masses on the weekends
of 21st/22nd and 28th/29th November, and to help us
collect and count donations after Advent. If you would
