Palm Sunday
Next Sunday we celebrate Palm Sunday of the Lord’s
Passion. At the 11am Mass only, The commemoration
of the Lord’s entrance into Jerusalem is celebrated
with a solemn procession which takes place in the
Pastoral Centre. The palms are blessed there and the
faithful carry the palms in procession into the Church.
The palms should be taken home and placed in a prominent
position as a reminder of Christ’s ultimate
victory.
Penitential Service
A penitential service will take place
on Palm Sunday at 6pm in preparation for Easter. This
will replace the Lenten Liturgy on that day.
